Hotel Holos is located just south of Seville’s city centre, in the historic district of Heliopolis. Our location is conveniently located near places where business is normally carried out, such as Galia Puerto.
The series The Plague, set in sixteenth-century Seville, has turned the city into a film set, bringing emblematic monuments to the screen.
The Expo of 29 left behind many buildings of great historical and architectural value in Seville. One of the most representative is the Cuba Pavilion.
The Heliopolis neighbourhood and Avenida de la Palmera, next to its surroundings, were the places chosen to host the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. In fact, the Heliopolis neighbourhood is a result of this planning.
One of the most characteristic buildings left by the 29th Expo is the Cuba Pavilion. The colonial air that its balconies transmit with dark brown Salomonic or spiral columns are astounding.
Seville is a city to be discovered little by little, and at Holos Boutique Hotel we will recommend the must see sights. Nevertheless, guests should begin with the Heliopolis neighbourhood, a place not very well known by the Sevillians themselves.
Heliopolis is one of the most historic residential neighbourhoods in Seville. The first houses of the neighbourhood were built in 1927 as a result of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. More than 390 chalets were built to house a maximum of 5,000 residents. In this initial phase, the objective was to cover the accommodation for the technicians and visitors to this important international event.
