HBO chose the city of Seville as one of its enclaves to film Game of Thrones. Here you can find all the places of interest that the actors and film crew visited when shooting the show.
The Royal Alcazar
This is one of the favorite Sevillian places for the setting of the American series. The gardens of the Real Alcázar of Seville represented the Water Gardens of Dorne, the headquarters of the Casa Martell. The area is ideal for staging the Land of Dorne, where abundant vegetation and water-filled fountains are a symbol of power and wealth. It is practically already a film set in itself, with very few modifications necessary since it is already an image of opulence and majesty.
